Community guidelines
Draft. These guidelines are a work in progress and will be finalized before community features open widely. The rules below reflect how we intend to run shared spaces.
Your journal is private to you. These rules are about the shared spaces: anything you post where other people can see it.
The short version
- Be kind. Real people are on the other side of the screen.
- Share food, places, and finds. That is what this is for.
- Keep community spaces free of content that does not belong in public.
What is not allowed in community spaces
- Adult or explicit content. Keep it appropriate for a general audience.
- Hate and slurs. No attacks on people based on who they are, and no slurs, including hidden in a place or dish name.
- Harassment and threats. No targeting, bullying, or intimidation.
- Impersonation. Do not pretend to be someone else or an official Stash account.
- Illegal content and anything that exploits or endangers minors. This is never tolerated and is reported to the authorities.
- Spam and scams. No fake deals, junk, or manipulation.
How we enforce this
You can report and block from inside the app. When we remove something, we tell you which rule it broke, we never name the person who reported it, and your private journal is untouched. If we get it wrong, you can appeal.
